‘Up All Night’ is a soulful, groovy track from the mind of R&B artist AMETHYST. Aside from her playful and effortlessly melodic vocal lines, the focus of this track is the rhythm coming from a deep bass line and punchy bass drum. ““This song wasn’t actually intended for me,” she explains. “I originally wrote this to a brief for another artist whilst at university. As soon as me and Strama finished the track, we realised it would suit me better as an artist, so I decided to keep hold of it and I think I definitely made the right choice.” Keep an eye out for Amethyst’s new EP dropping early next year. -Dan Peeke
